COTAPATA National Park and Natural Area Integrated Management



COTAPATA National Park and Natural Area Integrated Management 
Was created on July 9, 1993. Is located in the northeast of the city of La Paz, the area begins in
 the Yungas road on the stretch of La Cumbre. From La Paz is accessible by road or on foot
 using the prehispanic path of Choro. There are also daily buses from this city that can be
 taken up to Coroico or to La Cumbre for those who want to make the trek route. COTAPATA
 National Park and Natural Area Integrated Management has a great diversity of ecosystems 
because of its wide altitudinal range it is characterized by its exceptional scenic beauty, great
 snow, glaciers and Andean lakes, rushing rivers and waterfalls.
The activities that you can performed in this park are:
-        The road of El Choro (3 days), which runs part of Cotapata National Park.
-        the road of Takesi (2 days )
-        the path of Reconquered (3 days)
-        the road Yunga Cruz (3 days)
-        prehispanic path Irupana (3 days)
